Why CAP?

The British people are desperate for a solution to crime and poverty in the UK, specifically violent crime, which can be attributed to alcohol, drug misuse and other social problems. Poverty stricken individuals experience disadvantages as a result of their poverty, which in turn increases their development trap.

Our Mission

“community action is everybody's business”

The CAP team are experienced in crime prevention, harm reduction and the social consequences. The team comprises of professionals from the private, public and voluntary sector who have come together to make this campaign one of the nation’s biggest awareness drives. CAP will bring together a range of stakeholders all under the same roof, to network, share information and develop solutions to poverty and crime in the UK. Our major stakeholder and shareholder will be secondary schools in the UK. They will be our partners in community action and in return we will provide social and creative experiences and investments.

What makes our campaign dynamic?

CAP is a high profile national campaign. CAP will attend hundreds of schools and major well publicised events with our “Promotional Awareness Days” (PAD’s). CAP will provide hundreds of thousands of young people with creative and social experiences in arts, entertainment and sports. CAP will gain the support from personalities and celebrities to capture the public’s and media’s attention, “community action is everybody’s business.”

CAP has a unique income generator in “The CAP Discount Card” scheme. The Card will promote and act as a subliminal message that, “community action is everybody’s business”. CAP will provide opportunities for young people to earn an income by selling the card, which also teaches them new skills and builds confidence. So just think what one simple card can do. Not only does it generate business for retailers and services, saves the public money, provides social and creative experiences for young people, plus it invests millions each year in our schools throughout the country.

CAP will encourage, support and develop micro business opportunities. CAP will have an inclusive approach to crime diversion for prisoners and ex-offenders; that works! CAP will encourage the public back to local shopping by offering them bargains and special offers. You can have fun shopping and support your schools and community at the same time. So this initiative is a win-win for all.
