Community Programmes
CAP is putting together a comprehensive list of community programmes catering for young people. The programmes are grouped into four main areas.
CAP-Micro Business Development
CAP strongly believes in supporting and creating grass roots small businesses. For us this is the right approach to economic regeneration. Our focus will be on young people, willing to work together on likeminded projects. We intend to help and support a minimum of ten businesses per annum to become self-sufficient.
CAP-Crime Diversion Initiative
Supporting Ex-offenders by: Stopping the re-offending cycle, developing apprenticeship programmes for prisoners and ex-offenders, within the following industries: (Painting and decorating, bricklaying, plumbing, electrical installation, carpentry & joinery) and to secure employment, housing and support networks.
CAP-New Media Foundation
Offering training & hands-on experience in music & film production, software development, electronic game creation and Internet radio.
CAP-Sports Foundation
Teaching community spirit & good sportsmanship; offering sport coaching & league games in football, basketball plus others.
